It's Official!

Wow! It is finally official. Abundant Life Community Church is sponsoring a new church plant in Strongsville, Ohio - Lifepoint Church. It is exciting to have Abundant Life as the launching point!

We are so excited to be a part of this adventure!

Now that we have a sponsor, and a name, it is even more exciting to pray for the process. it is so much easier to pray for something by name, so put Lifepoint Church on your prayer list!

COMMITTED!

There's an old joke about theham and egg breakfast. It says that the chicken is involved in the breakfast, but the pig was COMMITTED!

Back in August when I was invited into this church planting adventure I thought I would get involved. I thought I would be helping out for a little while, then move on. Well, within a few months, it was clear that God had other plans. he called me to this FULL TIME. God intended for me to move from involvement to COMMITMENT.

So here we are seeking partners and going for it. Full time. Committed. And as weird as it is, like the pig and the breakfast, we do lay our lives down for it. We walk by faith.

24 “I assure you: Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces a large crop. 25 The one who loves his life will lose it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. John 12:24-25

Praise God!

God continues to bless us and confirm his direction in our lives. We are so excited about the journey and 2011!

The Harvest is Abundant!

“The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” Matt 9:37-38

There are over 225 Million unreached people in North America. The harvest is truly abundant! I am so excited to answer the call that God placed on my life to be one of the workers. The workers are few. We must continue to pray that God would send more workers to the fields. many times there are things holding them back, but by faith workers can go to the field and seek and find those who are lost and bring them to Jesus!

Let's get the task done!
